Gold-buying roots. Jewelry expertise.

Katz Imports started as gold buyers in 1979, operating multiple locations throughout the greater Philadelphia area. By the 1980s, the business shifted heavily into diamond wholesale.

Relationships grew from Philadelphia to New York City and Antwerp, Belgium. Katz Imports became a major wholesale diamond and jewelry supplier in the Philadelphia area.

Those decades taught us how to buy, source, evaluate, understand how jewelry is made and know who to call.

Every piece deserves more than a quick “cash for gold” weigh-in. Sometimes the value goes beyond the weight of its precious metals.

The maker, gemstones, craftsmanship, age and demand can all make a difference. We’ll evaluate the whole piece and determine whether it has value beyond its gold, silver or platinum content before discussing an offer.
